Cambridge exams
The “First Certificate in English” is a recognised examination in the commercial and industrial sectors and the “Certificate in Advanced English” is an examination that is required by most British universities prior to being granted admission for a study stay.
We recommend that students who would like to obtain the international Cambridge certificates visit the general English language courses from level B2 upwards.

IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses the language proficiency of persons wanting to study or work in English-speaking countries. The examination can be taken at a number of different test centres. Students can prepare for the examination by attending the Language Centre’s B2 and C1 courses.

TOEFL examinations
The Language Centre does not provide specific courses to prepare persons for the TOEFL Test. Students can prepare for the examination by attending the B2 or C1 courses or practice independently using a CD-ROM in the Computer Room.

French Language Certificates
DELF/DALF - TCF - TEF
DELF - Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française (levels A1 - B2 CEFR) / DALF - Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (levels C1 - C2 CEFR) are internationally recognised certificates for French as a foreign language. The certificates are awarded by the French Ministry of National Education. Students wanting to obtain one of these certificates can take part in the Language Centre’s general French courses.
Further certificates include:
- the Test de connaissance du français (TCF) from the Centre International d'Études Pédagogiques (CIEP)
- the Test d'évaluation de français (TEF) from the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Language tests for Turkish
